Award winning “Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse” Art Director Patrick O’Keefe talks abut his roots as an Animation Portfolio Workshop student. Patrick cites his APW experience as seminal in forming a passion for drawing that motivates him to constantly aim high in his work as a professional.

We are blown away at the wonderful work that Patrick continues to create as an art director, concept artist and perhaps most importantly as an artists and a painter. As are so many APW grads over the years, Patrick is a good example of the value of aiming high – higher than everyone else – and setting yourself toward the goal of learning drawing in order to say something with meaning.
